Change of Venue for Wednesday 14th October

I have a very important announcement regarding this Wednesday’s (14th October) rehearsal for the Shropshire Youth Choir that was due to be held at Meole Brace Science College, Shrewsbury.
Due to a clash with the school’s award ceremony, we are unable to meet in their hall this Wednesday.
Please can you let everyone attending this weeks rehearsal know that it will now take place at Holy Trinity Church, Meole Brace, Shrewsbury SY3 9HF, at the same time of 6:30pm til 8pm.

The following week, we will be back at Meole Brace School Science …

Shropshire Youth Choir – The First Rehearsal Interview on BBC Shropshire

BBC Radio Shropshire reporter, Shaun Foggerty, came along to the first ever meeting and rehearsal of the Shropshire Youth Choir this Wednesday at Meole Brace Science College in Shrewsbury. Shaun interviewed our choir master, Robert Harper, and three of our brand new members before recording a little of the Ghanian Hunting song we used as a warm up before tackling some scored pieces.

BBC Radio Shropshire will be at our first choir rehearsal

We’re delighted to tell all the budding choir singers out there, that on Wednesday the 7th October at our first rehearsal at Meole Brace Science College we will be joined by Shaun Foggerty from BBC Radio Shropshire. Shaun is a reporter for the BBC and will be coming along to interview our Musical Director, Robert Harper, and to talk to anyone taking part in our first evening of singing.
